GL-KLEEN0320 Cooling System Precleaner

Pre-commissioning cleaner for new cooling water systems that removes mill scale/flash rust, dissolves oils and greases, and improves initial passivation. Normally “shot-fed” at 0.5–1.0% by volume; expect significant foam—keep a 10% silicone defoamer on hand. Includes handling, storage (50–105 °F), materials compatibility for feed gear, packaging, and contact details.

Removing Iron Deposits from Closed Loop Systems with GL-KLEEN4011

Explains hardness, ion exchange with sodium/potassium-charged resin, and when regeneration is required. Walks through the service, backwash, brine-draw, slow-rinse, fast-rinse, and refill cycles. It contrasts single-bed (bypass during regen) versus twin-bed systems (continuous soft water). Great as an at-a-glance refresher for operators and trainees
